Please do not purchase instruments online.

When you are ready to make a purchase, please:
​
  1. Set a budget. A good starting price is $800 for a full size instrument.
  2. Make an appointment with one of the shops below. Plan on trying out violins for an hour or two.
  3. Pick one or two instruments you like from the collection. Check them out for a week or two. 
  4. Bring them to lesson and we'll talk about them. 
  5. Repeat until student finds the "perfect" instrument. Could take months... NEVER SETTLE!
  6. Do the same for bows! Purchase a violin first then find a bow that works best with the violin!
